found object jewelry

wearable objects made from Legos, dinosaur toys, and Kraft Handi-snack sticks. there’s some metalsmithing magic mixed in there, too. :)

text-ccessory

Recently I made Text-ccessory, a piece that proposes wearing status updates and tweets as an interesting new form of adornment.

p.s. Text-ccessory will be at the interactive exhibition Would You Wear This?, Exquisite Corpse Gallery for the month of November, I would love for you to check it out if you are in the Kzoo area!

wearable objects

last week i was in houston for SNAG, a metalsmithing and jewelry conference. here are some objects created for the conference ice-breaker, the Pin Swap. the green one looks like a mosquito! i made these by pulling strips of up-cycled leather strips through cabinet door catches. a small super powerful magnet holds it in place.
