Dawn of the Bed is a garden building event created by Growing Gardens. Raised beds were build by teams all across Portland, OR. It was a great day, tons of community activity, happy children, and fun. Everyone was working hard, rain and shine, to equip Shaver Elementary with some very nice raised beds. I was the Crew Leader for the team that built a handicap accessible bed. Go team! You guys are awesome.
